The PS-1 Horizontal Band Saw Guard encloses the cutting zone on shop-size horizontal band saws and power hacksaws with two hinged, electrically interlocked shields. Opening either shield breaks the interlock circuit and disables the machine, preventing blade contact during loading, adjustment, and chip clearing. Clear polycarbonate panels keep the cut line visible, while vinyl strip curtains let stock of varying sizes pass through without defeating the enclosure.
