What is the ANSI or American National Standards Institute code or standard for machine guarding requirements?

The ANSI B11 standard is the foundation of how to mitigate machine hazards on new or used equipment with proper machine guarding. There are subsets of the standard that discuss specific machines such as power presses, milling machines and lathes, shears, cutting machines, bending equipment, extrusion presses, grinders, to name a few.
