Description:
The primary role of the Field Installer is to fabricate, build, and install industrial & commercial projects. Position requires out of town travel and a clean driving record.
Responsibilities:
- Shop:
- Assemble projects from kit form
- Shop housekeeping
- Field:
- Installations based on customer demand
- Fabricate, build, and install machine safety guarding
- Build and install material handling products (racks, guard rails, handrailing, etc.)
- Spend time on personal development and interdepartmental efficiencies
- Other duties assigned by PowerSafe Automation Leadership
Skills:
- Must present and communicate in a professional manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be organized with good time management skills
- Possess proven analytical / problem-solving solutions for the customer and company
- Computer / Smartphone proficiency
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed sales goals
- Additional skills may be required to perform additional task(s) specific to work locations
- Must be responsible for provided hand tools needed for installations of PowerSafe Automation projects
- Must be able to operate power tools
- Travel a minimum of 80% of the time, up to 2 weeks at a time
Qualifications:
- Legally eligible to work in the US as well as able to read and speak English well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and training
- Clean driving record for at least 5 years
- Ability to lift 100 lbs.
- Ability to work in lift equipment at elevations up to 40’
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary range: $17.00 to $22.00 with overtime and bonus options
