Steel Machine Guarding is an alternative to a T-Slotted Framing system. This type of system is a cost effective method to perimeter guarding where modularity is not necessary. This Steel Machine Guarding consists of a square tubular steel post with a rigid floor mounting plate. Various types of panels, welded wire mesh being the most common, are framed with steel and includes mounting hardware to fasten to the steel posts. Sliding and swing doors are framed as well and include hinges, handles, door stops, etc... based on the functionality needed. What is PPE Safety?

Personal protection equipment or PPE is any type of equipment worn to protect a person from bodily harm to possible infection. These hazards could be electrical, mechanical, biohazard, or physical in nature. Ear plugs, safety glasses, hard hats, bump caps, steel toed boots, and fall protection are some of the most common PPEs worn by workers in facilities where these hazards occur. PPE can be further subcategorized into protective clothing or protective gear; protective clothing includes shirts with protective sleeves, heavy duty outerwear or thermal material whereas protective gear applies to things like masks, guards, shields, etc. All PPEs provide a barrier of some sort to protect the wearer from the hazards of their environment in a variety of applications.
